Begin ratcheting to remove terminal bolts on both negative(-) and positive (+) terminals. 3. To replace terminal bolts, begin with the positive (+) terminal first. Insert bolt into side terminal. Switch thumb pawl on side terminal wrench to reverse  ratcheting action. 4. Using side terminal wrench, tighen positive (+) bolt, then repeat procedure with the negative (-) terminal bolt.
