4. Working Principle of used lubricant regenerating plantA proposal for processing waste lube oil and industrial oils, using high vacuum distillation technology is presented here. The various steps involved in the projects are given below. Step1: The waste oil is pre-treated and then send to chemical processing kettle and react with catalyst. Step2: This waste oil is approx 130 degree at 0.098Mpa to have water and some light fractions separated. Step3: The temperature is keep rising up to 200-230degree at 500Pa , the lighter fractions such as gasoline, diesel are distilled and cooled and then stored in diesel receiving tank. Step4: The undistilled waste oil subjected to high vacuum, medium temperature in the heated distillation plant, the light base oil fraction is distilled and cooled and then collected in the light base oil tank( above 240degree and at a pressure of 300Pa). The distilled oil will have a viscosity of higher than SN100 at ambient. Step 5: The undistilled waste oil subjected to high vacuum, high temperature in distillation plant, the heavy base oil fraction is distilled and cooled and then collected in the base oil tank ( above 290degree and at a pressure of 100Pa). Distilled oil approximately higher than SN150 in viscosity). Step6: The distilled oils are clean oil generally no need further treatment, they are going to be blended with additives to get finished oils for the automotive and industrial applications. Step7: The final residue is semi solid at ambient and can be processed for manufacturing asphalt, finished to make off-speck heavy fuel oil or to make greases for slow moving equipment.
