3. Pharmacological Actions:
Oxytetracycline Injection is a wide broad-spectrum antibiotics, which have a strong inhibition of DNA synthesis of malignantbacteria. Besides having strong inhibition on gram-positive bacterium and gram-negative bacterium, it also have inhibit function on chlamydia, mycoplasma, a variety of richettsia, treponema, actinomyces and the majority of tozoon.
4. Indications:
(1)Porcine eperythrozoonosis, eperythrozoon, toxoplasma gondii and streptococcus mixed infection
(2)The respiratory tract syndrome: such as mycoplasmal pneumonia, pneumonia, infectious pleuropneumonia and so on.
(3)Reproductive tract infections: mastitis, endometritis, vaginitis, post-free milk.
(4)Gastrointestinal tract infections: a variety of bacterial or viral enteritis, dysentery, diarrhea and other seasonal diarrhea, etc.
5.Usage and Dosage:
Intravenous injection: 5-10mg /1kg body weight for livestock(calculated by active component), two times one day for 2-3 days.
6.Precautions:
(1)This product is a full dose drug, never use in overdosage.
(2)This product is only for deep muscle injection, high dose should be injected in varies of locations.
(3)Never use for horse or rabbit.
7. Withdrawal Period:
Cattle,sheep,swine 8 days, withdrawal period for milk 48 hours
