COMPOSITION
•lbendazole 10% powder:
Albendazol: 100 mg;
Excipient: Q.S. to 1 g;
PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTION
The mechanism of action is to inhibit fumarate reductase enzyme in the Krebs cycle this resulting in the cachexia and death of parasites.
USES
The preparations are used to prevent and treat the following helminthic diseases:
•Gastrointestinal helminthiasis: hemonchiasis, nematodiriasis, chabertiasis, bunostomasis, esophagostomiasis, ostertagiosis, trichocephaliasis, strongyloidiasis, neoascaridiasis, ascaridiasis, toxocariasis, ankylostomiasis, uncinariasis, oxyuriasis, delafondiasis, alfortiasis, trichonematosis;
•Pulmonary helminthiasis: dictyocaulosis, protostrongylosis, muleriosis, metastrongylosis, prenozomosis ;
•Cestodes: monieziasis, tizaniediosis, dipilidiosis.
•Trematodes: fasciolosis, dicroceliosis, paramphistomatosis, opisthorchiasis.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Not known.
PRECAUTIONS
Animals may only be slaughtered for meat not earlier than 14 days; milk is fit for human food in 2 days of the last use of the preparations.

STORAGE
Store protected from light in a dry place at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C. Shelf life is 24 months.
