Silicon nitride (Si3N4) material can be used in many fields because of its excellent comprehensive property.
1.High corrosion resistance. It can be used in strong acid and alkali situation.
2.High temperature stability. It can be used in high temperature situation, and the highest temperature can reach to 1400 °C. The strength and hardness in 1100 °C is almost the same as in room temperature.
3.Electrical insulation, non-magnetic. It can be used in magnetic field.
4.Low density of 3.26 g/cm3.
5.Low thermal expansion coefficient of 3.2×10-6/K, which is 30% of Al2O3, and 40% of ZrO2. It can bear a sharp temperature change.
6.High rigidity and strength. Compared with chrome steel, Si3N4 ceramic is twice higher in hardness and half higher in elastic modulus value.
Si3N4 ceramic valve
