Ceramic plunger

The main materials we use are zirconia and zirconia toughened alumina, both of which are ceramic materials that are of superior quality. Ceramic plunger is now used with many top grade high-pressure plunger pumps throughout the world. Compared with common metal plunger, ceramic plunger has the outstanding merits of higher anti-wear ability, higher hardness, higher bending strength, higher anti-corrosion ability and lower coefficient of heat expansion. Its working life is 5-6 times as that of the metal plunger. Therefore, it’s believed that ceramic plunger should be an ideal substitute for the metal plunger.
