Purpose and scope

    The instrument is designed and made as per GB/T508 Test Methods for Ash content of Petroleum Products in the National Standard of Peoples Republic of China. It is suitable to determine ash content of petroleum products as per GB/T508. However, it is not suitable to determine ash content in the petroleum products containing crude ash additive (including phosphor compound additive), lubricant oil containing lead and used crankcase oil of motor.
