Functional principle

The operational principle of sheath thermocouples is the same as that of the ordinaryindustrial thermocouples. It bases itself upon Seebeck effect, I.E. two homogeneousconductors with different constituents (hot electrode) compose the closed loop, when two ends exist the temperature gradient, the current goes through in the loop, therefore Seebeck electrical potential-thermoelectric potential is in between the two terminals.
