The AOTOMO series Automatic Mahjong Table works by creating an electromagnetic force and repelling the magnetic tile into the proper tile side. Once the tile is facing the proper side, then an elaborate magnetic belt system is energized and the tile is attracted onto the belt system by using electromagnetic force. The magnetic belt system will then distribute the tile where needed.As the tile moves through varies sensors the computer counts the tiles and is able to direct tiles to where they are needed. Once the system has determined that each wall has the amount of tiles needed to play the game as programmed by the player at the game set point, the computer will give an audible sound notifying the players all the tiles are in place for the next game. The player can then press simultaneously the two start game buttons on the circular located in the center of the table. The circular will then rise and when both buttons are pressed again the circular will recess into the table and the tiles will rise to the surface. The game is ready to play.

Each table comes with it's own mahjong tiles, specially made for the American market (they have numbers on them). The tiles include jokers, seasons, and flowers. The game tables can be set to play any number of tiles to accomodate different styles of play. Please feel free to email any questions.
The aprox. demensions for most of the tables are, side to side, 39 inches, the playing area is 32 1/2 inches, and the height is 30 inches. the weight at 200 pounds (the playing mechanism is very heavy). The number of tiles are easily changed by lfting up the playing surface and changing the number on a electronic counter.
