Heat Treatment
Isothermal annealing:Heat to 850÷880;Funace cooling to 770 and hold at temperature for at least 10 hours;Cool by10/h to 720;Cooling in air.
Stress relieving :To be carried out after machining and befor the final heat trestment,-Heat to 650÷700 , hold for 4/6 hours ;-Furnace cooling to 330÷350 -Cooling in airHardening : -Initial preheating to 350÷450;-Second preheating to 750÷850 in sait bath at 850;-Austenitizing at 960÷100;-Cooling in air or in oil if large parts.Quenched hardness:64÷65HRCTempering:In the temperature range 150÷300 with minimum holding time 3h. For parts hardened at 1080÷1100, a first will be carried out at 500÷550 in order to expioit secondary handness, foliowed by a second tempering at 180/300
