4 Properties
properties of 42CrMo is Similar to 35CrMo steel, due to the increase of carbon and chromium content, so the intensity and hardenability are better than 35CrMo. After quenching and tempering, 42CrMo has higher fatigue strength and resistance to repeated shocks, good low temperature impact toughness , no obvious temper brittleness.
