Our wooden louvers are made by paulownia. It is one kind of timber with light weight(320KGS/CBM or so, nearly half weight of basswood),the consumer can save energy when they pull the blinds, that will reduce abrasion of the components to extend the service life of blinds. Paulownia also have very beautiful grain, which other kinds of wood can not rival.
Please skim through special workmanships of our blinds:
1.we put boards in hot water pool(temperature70~80°C) about 20days, so blinds board have been done high-temperature antivirus, healthy to our body. Unfortunately, some blinds are doing drug antivirus in the market. And it can also keep good shape, not easy to be changed color after soaking in hot water.
2.Board are dried naturally, when the moisture content arrive 18~25%,they will be placed in baking room(80~90°C) about 180 hours. The moisture content will be equalization below 10%. Blinds are damp-proof , insect-proof and not easy to be deformated after this process.
3.Then they are placed in a cool, dry place away from sunlight around 100 days. Some boards may craze and be cleared away. Boards will be very flattening and not easy to be changed shape and easily processed.
After above processes, we chose good board to make blinds.
Boards are painted with N/C or UV, the color fastness can arrive grade 4. It can not be easily oxidated and fade color.
