1). First our shopping trolleys have double rods spot welded together around the top of the basket for reinforcement to stand up to years of abuse such as hard bumps. 

2). 2 rods mean twice the strength.   Plastic inserts are installed inside the hinges hinges up for nesting.

3). Our baskets cannot contact metal to metal due to the cushioning effect of these plastic inserts.Thus this slamming of metal into metal is prevented here as well.  

4). Casters are cycle tested to 1,000,000 cycles.Seat belts are included.
