Gloves used to pick up hot glass and for opening up your kiln while it is in the fusing process.

A pair of heat resistant gloves. 

These gloves are the ones recommended for use with their microwave kilns. They come in one size which will fit most men or women. 

When using the microwave kiln it becomes extremely hot and you need special heat resistant gloves to remove the kiln from the microwave and for use when checking how the fusing is going. 

Please do not try to use anything else such as a teatowel as the heat from the kiln is likely to set it alight. 

The gloves are designed for handling the kiln but please don't use them as a heat resistant surface - if you leave the hot kiln sitting on top of the gloves they may catch alight!

Caution! Gloves are not designed to grasp hot glass or perform in high temperatures. 

Always allow plenty of time for the kiln to cool in the microwave before touching.
