Application method and cautions for gunning material for tundish.

1. Clean the side wall and the bottom before spraying.

2. Add 18% water when mixing it with machine.

3. Keep the side wall 70-80°C when spraying.

4. Spray it from the bottom to the top. The spraying thickness of bottom is 40-45mm.. The spraying thickness of side wall is 30-35mm. The slag line should be thickened by 40-45mm.

5. Adopt reciprocating type of spraying to avoid spalling phenomenon.Bake it at the time of 4 hours after the spraying.

6. Control the rising speed of the baking temperature to avoid cracking. Begin with small fire, then rise slowly.( reference temperature: small fire 25-400°C, middle fire 400-600°C, big fire 600-1100°C The small fire lasts for 2-3h).
