Polyethylene of raised temperature resistance (PE-RT) was developed in USA as a new kind of

pipeline material able to bear the high temperature. Besides all the advantages of high density polyethylene, it’s well done in resolving problem of hot water supply. PE-RT is copolymer of comonomer based on ethylene-octane. It can control appropriately the number and distribution on the branched chain of polyethylene molecular chain during polymerization, which makes PE-RT material gain excellent physical mechanics performance and higher heat resistant performance without crosslinked. It can be used 50 years or so under the circumstance of transmitted water temperature 70°C(centigrade degree)& the pressure of 0.97MPa.
