Machine configuration
A SHJ-20 twin-screw extruder
1. Length-diameter ratio: 40:1
2. Diameter:21.7mm
3. Rotating speed: 60~600rpm
4. Length of the barrel: 850mm
5. Number of the barrel: 6 (the first section is for feeding barrel with a length of 100mm, the average length of the other 5 sections is 150mm)
6. Main motor: 4KW (AC) equipped with Danfoss variable-frequency regulator.
7. Screw components and core shaft (most advanced material at home)
1) Barrel with modular structure is made of anti-wear material lined with α-101 hard alloy bush. The screw components are made of high quality high speed tool steel, W6MO5Cr4V2. The screw core shaft is made of 40CrNiMoA, and the screw thread components connect with the core shaft in an involute curve, which features high intensity, large load and easy disassembly and assembly. The first cylinder is used for main feeding mouth, 5th cylinder for vacuum exhausting hole, the other cylinders are of closed mouth type.
2) Screw components are designed using building block principle, which can be optimally adjusted according to your material property and process requirements.
8. Gearbox
1) The compact host machine features integrated speed reduction and torque transfer with a design of parallel three axles. SKF bearings are used in reducer, torque transfer device and as the radial bearing in the output shaft.
2) Rotation speed of the screw: MAX600RPM
3) Oil-immersed Lubrication system is adopted. Low oil level and over pressure automatic alarm system contributes to the high efficiency of the gearbox.
4) The gearbox is cast in ductile cast iron materials, thus our gearbox features rigid, steady and safe.
5) Gear: the precision of gears is of the 7th class, our high-speed and heavy-duty gear system is made of 20CrNi2MoA, HRC58—62.
9. There are totally five temperature control sections. The 2nd and 3rd sections are cast aluminum heaters, the other cast copper. The barrel uses soft water cooling. Electromagnetic valves are DANFOSS products.
10. Stainless steel protective shield makes our barrels more safe, energy-saving and beautiful.
11. Water cooling strands pelletizing:
Power of the barrel heating system: 5KW;
Power of the temperature control section: 0.4KW;
Fusion pressure &melting temperature sensor are designed at the die position.
B SHJ-20 single-screw metering feeder
1) Feeding motor is an AC motor, main feeding motor power: 0.18KW.
2) Regulating system is Danfoss variable-frequency regulator
3) Reduction ratio: 17
4) The motor and reduction machine are straightly connected. The feeders with horizontal agitator can steadily feed and not to be bridge formatted.
5) Feeding screw: intermeshing screws
C Vacuum system
1. XJ-14 vacuum pump
2. Motor:0.37KW
3. One set of vacuum chamber,vacuum meter ,vacuum duct and vacuum container.
D Soft water circulation system
1) The barrel uses soft water cooling.
2) The soft water tank separates with the body, which facilitates cleaning and service.
3) Electromagnetic valves are Danfoss products imported from Germany.
4) Water pipe is copper pipe coated with chrome.
5) Cooling method: water cooling.
6) Water cooling pump: 0.335 KW
7)Volume of the water tank: ~30L
E Manual quick-open screen changing die
1. Screen is fixed between the barrel and the die; the die is equipped with two perforated plate (one for spare use)
2. Screw out the bolts; open the die quickly and change the screen.
F Auxiliary system for pelletizing
1) Stainless steel water tank: 300mm*1.2m one set
2) Air knife (0.37KW) one set
3) LQ-25 pelletizer (0.75KW) one set
G Electrical control system
1) 3 phase 380V, AC 50 Hz.
2) Main electric control components are Chnt products. Electromagnetic valves are Danfoss products
3) Control buttons are Chnt products.
4) The main motor is an AC motor with a power of 4 KW.
5) The speed regulators both in the host machine and the feeding machine are Danfoss variable-frequency regulator.
6) The temperature control meter is the Japan RKC product which is intelligent. The precision reaches ±2°C. With PID self-adjusting system, it can efficiently trace the materials to reach the most satisfying extruding results.
7) Heating is controlled by a solid-state relay, using heat-resistant wire which will abide great heat(MAX800°C).
8) The electric control cabinet controls the temperature control system, the driving system and the interlock control system.
