There is an on/off button on the left side. On the right side, there are 3 buttons. The top button is the alphabet button, the middle button is the space button, and the bottom button is the special characters button.

It is really easy to understand. There are hard copy enhanced instructions inside the individual boxes and simple instructions on the back of the individual box. When message is finished, hold the space button until the cursor disappears. The message is now on "Screensaver mode" where it randomly disappears/appears/flashes/and etc.

Fan Color may vary from picture. Display will be red on the letters.
