 Inositol, also named cylohexanehexol, has the function similar to that of vitamin B. Inositol is the nutrition medicament in medicine industry. It belongs to the matter of VB groups, one kind of VB multiple. It has the function similar to that of vitamin B1 and biotin.

It occurs as fine,white crystal or as a white crystalline powder.Itis odorless,has a sweet taste.is stable in air.   It is neutral to litmuswithout optical activity.
