The core of the ACCC is carbon fiber core, a heat-resistant resin-based composite materials core made from glass fiber.
Features of ACCC 1) High transmission capacity The ACCC can continuous operate under a high temperature of 150 °C.Under the same diameter, the conductive area of ACCC has an increase of 29% over the ACSR.Using the fully annealed soft aluminum, makes the resistivity of ACCC is 3% lower than the normal conductor which made of the hard aluminumCompared with ACSR , the ACCC can raise the transmission carrying capacity by more than 100%. 2) Power safety Low load:The reduction in weight of ACCC can lighten the load by 25%.Low sag: Under the high temperature conditions ,the sag variation of ACCC is just 1/10 of the ACSR, thus makes the conductor can operate more safety and reliable under the high temperature.anti-freeze: Due to the increased operating temperature of conductor , it can effectively prevent the major accidents caused by line-freezing in winter.Long Life:As the composite mandrel is covered by an insulator glass fiber layer, there is no potential difference between the mandrel and the aluminum wire. Thus can avoid the electrolytic corrosion between aluminum wire and galvanized steel wire while it is energized. Therefore using the ACCC can effectively slows the aging and prolong the life of wire.the main performance index
