OverviewSynchronized accurate time is required for synchronized operations. The earlier methods for synchronizations were signaling methods which were manual and hence prone to error.

The GPS clock is built to display accurate time which is received by the GPS receiver from the satellite system. The typical issues of having to place the clock at a place where the GPS signal is available is avoided here by having an RF link between the GPS receiver and the Display unit. Hence while the GPS receiver can be placed to pick up the satellite signals , the display units can beplaced anywhere within a radius of 1km line of sight.

Multiple clock displays can be within an area of 1KM line of sight of the clock transmitter. Unlike other GPS clock systems which require have a GPS receiver in each clock, which will require visibility to the sky, our system employs s single clock transmitter which connects to a GPS receiver which has to be exposed to the sky. Any number of Clock displays can be fitted into a radius of 1KM line of sight.
