HY-201 SILICONE OIL

Silicon oil is non-toxic and odourless, with physical inertia, good chemical stability, insulation property, and weatherability,  wide range of viscosity, low freezing point, high flash point, good hydrophobicity, high shear resistance. It can be used for a long time under the temperature of -50-1800C.

 

 

Properties and applications of silicone oil:

 

The methyl silicon oil, which has excellent resistance to high and low temperature, good electrical insulation, good resistance to ageing, low surface tension, non-toxic and odourless, physical inertia, low viscosity-temperature coefficient, higher compressibility, low volatility, better lubricating property, etc., can serve as insulating oil, lubricating oil, damping oil, shockproof oil, antifoaming agent, release agent, mineral oil additive, etc.

Silicon oil package, storage and transportation:

Package is in 200kg per iron barrel. Store isilicone oil at ventilated and drying place. Transport silicon oil as non-hazardous goods.

 

 

How to distinguish the pure silicon oil and ungraded silicon oil?

(1)   Check by your observation: pure silicon oil is a transparent liquid without any smell, but ungraded silicon oil smells bad and in a turbid liquid form.

(2)   To test silicon oil by fire. take the pontil or glass rod to dip some liquid silicon oil , if the silicon oil can be lighted and fumed when burning, so the liquid silicon oil is the ungraded silicon oil ,which is a kind of petrochemicals. And, Pure silicon oil can not be fired, which is colorless, odorless, clear, nontoxic. The burning point of pure silicon oil is 3200C,but ungraded silicon oil is 100C.

(3)   Freezing point Method: Take 100g of two kinds of silicon oil into refrigerator at the same time. Under temperature of-5 to -10 0C for 2 hours, ungraded silicon oil will turn to turbid or frozen ,while pure silicon oil is still clear and transparent as before, and pure silicon oil will not freeze until -5 0C.
