Product DescriptionGlass Bead - often called intermix or drop-on beads in conjunction with the pigment, which are applied in thermoplastic road marking paint to give the material the retro-reflectivity necessary for the bright night-time appearance.

Retro-reflectivity is the ability of a road marking to reflect light from a vehicle's headlights back to the driving position of a vehicle. Initially it will be determined by the amount of glass bead spread on the line. The continuing performance of the line is determined by the amount and quality of glass beads included in the body of the road marking.

We are capable of manufacture and supply two types of glass beads of both for intermix use with the thermoplastic road marking paint and for drop-on after coat of the thermoplastic paint during construction.

Product SpecificationConforms to the requirements of MOST- the Standard of Chinese Traffic Ministry (JT/T446-2001), these specifications are designed for surface application to road marking withthermoplastic material. A surface application rate of 300 – 400 gms per sqm is recommendedfor maximum reflectivity and durability.

The Products is also conform British Standard BS6088 and American Standard AASHTOM 24708 etc.

Note: The special order is welcomed. Customer could specify the different size of glass bead between 50μm-1180μm as per the client actual application condition.

PackageUsing double-deck package, the inner is polythene film and its thickness is not less than 0.5mm,the outer is plastic woven bag to prevent leak or damp. The net weight of each bag is 25±0.2kg.
