Introduction

Brush/ Disc skimmer is a mechanical device recovering oil spill on water. Discs or brushes, half submerged in water, continuously rotate to adhere oil to the brush or disc and carry the oil out of water. The adhered oil on discs or brushes is scraped off by oil waper and flows into a collecting sump, then the oil is pumped out by the oil transfer pump mounted on the bottom of collecting sump .Thus, the oil is recovered.

Characteristics

1.Brush / Disc skimmer can recover floating oil. The brush is particularly suitable for recovering the medium and high viscosity oil, while the disc is especially suitable for recovering the medium and low viscosity oil. The brush or disc can be replaced according to the viscosity of oil. When the waste oil is of the middle or high viscosity, you can use the brush assembly, and when the waste oil is of medium or low viscosity, dismount the brush assembly and replaced with disc assembly. The replacement of brush and disc assembly is convenient.

2.The oil recovered by Brush / Disc skimmer has little free water.

3.Skimmer floats stably and has good wave riding ability and a certain degree of anti-wind ability. It can be used to recover oil spill in rivers, lakes, harbors, docks and so on.
