It has 2 ASI Input Interface, and 2 ASI (mirror) Output Interfaces, and it supports MPEG-4 SD Encoding format to MPEG-2 Encoding format Transcoding. The Transcoding process are fully completed with Digital Signal and no any D/A, A/D converting. In other words, it has no any signal quality loss. This device can de-multiplex 1 program from the input MPTS and transcode the program from encoding format MPEG-4 to MPEG-2. Moreover, it also has IP TS input function and IP TS output function. The Transcoder operations are carried through NMS.
