Nylon 6 filament has outstanding mechanical performances, such as high tensile strength and excellent abrasion resistance. It absorbs water from the environment until it reaches an equilibrium constant with the ambience relative humidity, with a progressive proportional decrease of their stiffness. For this reasons, Nylon 6 filament is commonly used for industrial brushes in dry applications but also for cosmetic sector.
