Bronze coated iron powder is a composite alloy consisting of iron as the core and pure copper the coat. Such materials can be used in self lubricating bearings, diamond tools and friction materials, as substitute for copper powder, bronze powder and brass powder, thus reducing the production costs considerably.

  It can be  used for manufacturing self lubricating bearings, especially suitable for micro types, compacted bronze parts and structural parts. It is the ideal substitute for conventional 6-6-3 bronze powder as it has lower cost, higher purity, better lubrication and corrosion resistance.      Bronze coated iron powder can also be used in diamond tools. It can replace the mixture of iron and copper powder as bonder for diamond tools manufacturing. With nice anti-segregation of particles, this powder can improve the strength and service life of diamond tools.
