Molybdenum has a higher melting point 2620, lower than tungsten. Similar with tungsten crucible, the Mo crucible is also widely applied in high temperature environment such as LED sapphire and single crystal growing , rare earth melting, sintering boats. The working temperature of Mo crucible is above 1200.
