Platform

1,The base platform is a rugged one-piecewelded steel frame, stress relieved and precision machined.

2,The working surface is 1PVC with a high-flow air grid pattern. Upon isatallation, the surface is machined in place to insure a flat surface.

3,The gantry’s X and Y movement are driven by high-quality servo motors on gear rack rails. The Z axis combines a ball screw drive with a servo motor ( servo motors by Panasonic, Japan)

I-cut Camera & Software

1,The i-cut camera with its fast video capture board is capable of reading the register marks accurately. It is compatible with the industry’s leading RIP and printer manufactures.

2,I-cut vision’s patented means of distortion compensation enables the Signkey Flated Bed Cutter to produce error free results.

Tools(continued)

1,If necessary the router motor can be replaced in minutes. The knife stations accept different tool holders like kiss-cut, crease as well as the fixed and oscillating knifes. Tool holders are interchangeable and can be changed in seconds. The Signkey tool holders accept blades and bits offered by i-cut.

2,Optional standard Signkey router spindle is rated for most substrates used in the Wide Format Printing Industry. If needed, the standard spindle (include) can be replaced from a range of heavy duty spindles.

Vacuum

The work surface is divided in zones; four for the 4*8ft model and six for the 5*10ft. model. Each zone has its own vacuum pump controlled by individual “on/off” buttons on the front panel. The power of the pumps is configured for most substrates used in Wide Format Printing.
