The so-called self-filled balloons, just as the name suggests, is automatically inflating the balloon. Because it is easy to use, and does not need other inflatable equipment which can automatically generate the gas, it is widely used by many customers.
Principle
The reason why self-filled balloon can inflate automatically is because the use of the chemical principle of mixing dilutes hydrochloric acid (i.e., edible citric acid) with sodium bicarbonate (i.e., edible baking soda) and produces the carbon dioxide. In the production of the balloon, first, we should put a certain amount of sodium bicarbonate into the balloon, and then wrap a certain amount of dilute hydrochloric acid with OPP bag. When inflating, we should only rack the dilute hydrochloric acid in the balloon; later dilute hydrochloric acid will produce carbon dioxide with sodium bicarbonate mixed inside the balloon. Due to the reaction sped is very fast, so it will quickly expand into a full balloon modeling.
