RF anechoic chamber is mainly used to simulate free space conditions for electromagnetic environment, which is the basic engineering & guarantee for Electromagnetic radiation characteristic measurement. Its design and construction (especially absorbing capacity and quiet zone) should meet the specific requirements of tested equipments.
Main parameter of RF anechoic chamber (Example):Size: 4m x 3m x 3m (Size can be customized)Working frequency: 2GHz ~ 6GHz
Shielding effectiveness: 2GHz ~ 6GHz >80dBQuiet zone size: 0.3m×0.3m×0.3mQuiet zone reflectivity: 2GHz ~ 6GHz B-30dBCross-polarization: > 25 dB
Absober:
We recommend adopting PXB absorbing materials in this anechoic chamber. PXB absorber is a solid foam absorber, which has very good broadband absorbing properties in electromagnetic wave vertical incidence & oblique incidence. PXB absorber has good flame-resistant properties, and it can meet the requirements of Navy laboratory report NRL8093 (Test I, II & III). It is widely used in all kinds of anechoic chambers.
Shielding door(0.7m×1.2m)
Shielding door is the exit & entrance for anechoic chamber, switched frequently. Therefore, shielding door is the key component of anechoic chamber, which is also the main part of electromagnetic leakage from anechoic chamber. Shielding effectiveness of the anechoic chamber depends on the performance of shielding door. In order to improve shielding effectiveness of the door, make sure the door crack in case of frequent activities still has a good electrical contact. For this purpose, it is better to adopt mature developed & easy opened Cutter Spring Shielding Door. For this RF anechoic chamber, we’d like to recommend the shielding door with size 0.7m x 1.2m.
