POWER ON/OFFPress “ON/OFF” button to turn the power on (turn on condition for initial installation), hold 2 seconds to turn power off.The fork will auto turn off within 5 minutes to save power. After the choice of the type of meat, the fork will not shut down automatically.High-brightness backlight display: Power on and key operation will flash the backlight for 5 seconds.Open the battery cover and press “°C/°F” button to switch °C and °F freely.

TO SELECT MEAT TYPE AND TASTE LEVEL1) Select the meat type pressing the “ON/OFF” button. Each press will change the display by in the following sequence:BEEF-LAMB-PORK-CHICKEN-TURKEY-(no selection)2) Select the doneness of the meat by pressing “TASTE” button which is indicated by the black box on the LCD, each press will change the taste in the following sequence:WELLDONE-MEDIUM-MEDIUM RARE-RARENote: Taste levels will only be selectively indicated according to the type of meat.

Note: Taste temperature according to personal taste. User can read the digital thermometer to determine their own taste temperature to determine their own taste temperature °C/°F preset at factory with resolution at 1 degree °C or °F.

TO MEASURE TEMPERATURE OF MEAT

1)       Insert the tines halfway into the thickest part of the meat.

2)       Allow approximately 20-30 seconds for the probe to obtain accurate temperature reading

3)       The black box of the taste level will turn on and flash to indicate the doneness of meat, as the meat temperature rises up to next higher level, the black box of that level will also turn on and keep flashing.

4)       Once the predetermined taste level is reached, the temperature reading will flashing and the fork will beep to alert the doneness of meat

5)       Press “ON/OFF” or “TASTE” button to clear the flashing LCD and to stop beeping

6)       Remove the tines once the temperature is determined
