Material and heating treatment

We mainly choose heightening GRPA66 as the material of cage ,NRB as sealing encircling's. When the environment temperature is more than 120 oC, we choose fluorine rubber as the material of sealing encircling.The ball and the roller of HSB are all made by high chrome steel, shaft, outer ring use carbon steel or chrome steel. Usually, if the shaft's material is high-carbon, the hardness reaches 60-64HRC. And if the shaft material is high-chrome, the hardness reaches 58-62HRC. The hardness of ball and roller reaches 61-65HRCand the hardness of outer ring is 60-64HRC.

Lubrication and Seal

The water pump bearing adopts once-time lubrication, which is also a kind of lifetime lubrication. so lubricating directly affects the bearing's service-life. Usually, No. 2# or No3#grease can satisfy the requirement of lubrication, the quantity sould be 1/4or 1/2 part of the space. The fuction of the water pump bearing seals is to exclude contaminants,such as dust or coolant vapour,while retaining the lubricant.

Clearance

The real inherent backlash of the bearing of the water pump influence service life and performance of the bearing greatly in using, At choosing primitive radial backlash except want , consider bearing outer lane with bearing flat hole pass , full of cooperate and reduction of backlash that cause. Consider causing the reduction of backlash because relevant parts that Wen Sheng caused are hot and bloated, Cross the full ofing amount and recommend using Table 1.

HSB water pump axle connects with the bearing while there is no special requirement, The primitive radial backlash of the complete sets of bearing is 15- 35µm.
