Pvpp is white to creamy white, free-flowing powder, easily hygroscopic, insoluble in water, acid, alkaline and all other common solvents; swells rapidly in water without forming a gel; better flow ability and plasticity, strong particle compressibility, non-ionic , chemically inert.

3.pvp-p application

1).Due to its excellent swelling characteristics in water, can be used as water insoluble tablet disintegrating agent for wet and dry granulation and direct compression processes in tablets whether added before or after granulations. It exhibits high capillary activity and pronounced hydration capacity, barely forming gels

2).Solubility enhancer, increasing the solubility of poorly soluble drugs by co-evaporation.

3).Suspension stabilizer, increasing the viscosity, improving the dispersal capacity, reducing the sedimentation rate of drug, meanwhile increasing the redispersibility of the solution sediment, suitable for liquid preparations and oral instant disintegrating preparations

4).complextant agent of drug ingredients, stabilizing active ingredients in pharmaceutical products, improving their solubility and bioavailability

5).Be used as stabilizer for beer, wine, cinegar and many juice and beverage to prolong their storage life
