Product Description:
RES-2500POE switch series is independently by adopting a new generation of switch chip, which is a hi-performance and wholly gigabit switch series.Along with the continuous development of the WiFi technology, 802.11b/g will gradually be upgraded to 802.11N and the results it brings are firstly that the wireless access bandwidth of the network increases from 54Mbps to 300Mbps or even to 600Mbps and secondly that the power consumption of wireless AP increases from several watts to over ten watts or to over twenty watts. In this case, the 100M POE switches can no more meet the requirements, while gigabit POE switches start to show their advantages in the 802.11N construction. At the same time, gigabit switches can support the 802.3at power supply with up to 30W, an ideal solution for the requirements of the new generation of wireless APs.
Features:
Excellent performance1.64Gbps backplane bandwidth, uncongested design and fully wire-speed forwarding.2.Gigabit optical fiber supporting up to 80Km transmission distance and directly connecting the MAN backbone network.
Excellent POE functions1.Supporting two power supply modes: 802.3at (30W) and 802.3af (15.4W).2.Supporting POE auto-checkup to identify the power consumption required by PD, intelligently and cost-effectively.
High security and reliability1.Providing multiple user authentication modes such as 802.1x authentication.2.Powerful ACL, and L2 to L7 data filtration.3.Port-MAC-IP bind.4.Special ARP invasion detection to effectively stop ARP cheat.
Flexible and various management1.Automatically identifying the straight-through cable and the intercrossed cable.2.Adopting the cluster technology; supporting device cascading; managing uniquely through a unique IP address; saving address resources.3.Supporting multiple management modes such as Console port, Telnet, Web and SNMP.4.Supporting multiple general network management protocols like Broad Drictor, HP Open View and Cisco Works 2000.
Powerful flow and broadcast management1.Detecting and limiting broadcast storms automatically and supporting IGMP snooping to limit broadcast flooding. 2.+Supporting flow control in full-duplex mode or half-duplex mode. 3.The rate limitation in a minimum step of 64K is supported on the Ethernet interface.4.Supporting IP multicast and QoS.
