Its centrifugal drum rotates and slurry is fed onto the inside surface of the drum by a feeding device. Minerals of different densities in the slurry suffer different moving displacements under the combined actions of centrifugal field and film dilation. Heavy minerals suffer bigger displacements than that of the light ones in the film so that heavy minerals quickly settle down onto the drum and rotate together with the drum as a centrifugally pressed thin concentrate layer; light minerals, however, flow out of the drum to become tails along with the film through discharging device outside the machine. When the feed is paused, concentrate flush device starts to flush heavy minerals into discharging device to let them become concentrates.
