Actual values may depend on ballast and applications. Lamps will start and operate with a 10% reduction in rated supply voltage when the correct control gear is used, however to maximize lamp survival and lumen maintenance the supply voltage and ballast design voltage should be within +/-3%.

Supply varations of +/-5% are permissible for short periods only.

The’Live’phase/line connection from the supply must be connected via the bllast/ignitor to the centre contact of the lamp base. (Nomimal color temperature is based on horizontal operation of the lamp.Off-horizontal positions result in warmer color temperature.)
