Obtained from the cocoon of the Bombyx Mori I silk worm.

Tissue reactivity may be moderate.

Tension is maintained through time though it decreases until tissue encapsulation occurs.

Color : Blue ,black and white.

Frequently used in tissue confrontation or ties except in urologic procedure.
