60hz : Axial and centrifugal fans with AC motor sizes 094/110/138
Asynchronous external rotor motors in sizes of 110 and 138 have been developed as drives for axial fans with blade diameter from 500mm to 910mm , for backward curved centrifugal fans with impeller diameter 450mm to 630mm , and forward curved centrifugal fans with impeller diameters from 250mm to 400mm , the latest motors are available in 4,6,8,and 12-poles versions and in a variety of installation lengths .
Depending on the motor size, the axial fans have sickle-shaped plastic blades ( Hyblades ) or die-cast blade: in both variants , the blade ends have been optimized by using “winglets” this guarantees particularly quite operation and at same , high efficiency , different blade angles for each diameter make it possible to configure almost any operation required .
In designing the Hyblade axial fan blades , ebm-papst was the first to use a high-strength . corrosion-resistant aluminium alloy carrier with a jacket of special , fibre-reinforced plastic .
For backward curved centrifugal fans up to 630mm in diameter , an impeller with three-dimensional, backward curved blades is used , which likewise provides the best possible results in terms of noise and efficiency .
The forward curved centrifugal fans , with impeller diameters form 250mm to 400mm ,, are able to be used with the existing external rotor motors of size 094,110,138.
