Hair Care for Remy Hair
Step 1
First thing to keeping your Virgin Remy Hair silky and beautiful is to make sure that you keep it washed. Add enough Herbal Essences shampoo to make a lather. It is best to wash this hair in cold water, heat can ruin the cuticle. Cold water also helps the Hair retain its shape.
Step 2
Rinse the shampoo out with cold water. Next, you want to condition the hair. Use enough herbal essences conditioner to get all the strands of hair covered. This conditioner should not be left in longer than 10 minutes.
Step 3
Rinse the conditioner out. Now that you have completed the washing and conditioning phase, it is now time to strengthen the hair. Palmers Coconut Milk should be used because it contains protein in it. Protein will help the Virgin Remy Hair not to become limp or dry and break off. Deep condition this hair once per week.
Step 4
When the hair is dry, there are many products you can use. Gel can be used to retain curly hair, but should not be kept in the hair for a long period of time.It is important to spray some type of oil in the hair after it is dry, I recommend olive oil, because without oil, the Virgin Remy Hair is prone to breakage.
Step 5
Comb your hair every single morning from the tips up to the roots. This will prevent your Virgin Remy Hair from tangling and matting together.
Step 6
At night, you should wrap your hair. However, sleeping on it without wrapping it should be fine as well. Just do not sleep on wet hair because it will stick the hair together in the morning.
Step 7
Swimming in this hair is completely fine. It is better to braid your Virgin Remy Hair before swimming. After swimming repeat the washing and conditioning process mentioned above.
