FRP pipe mandrel is used for producing the FRP pipe. Diameter from DN200~DN4000, Length from 3000~12000mm.

I. Outline: FRP pipe mandrel is used for producing the FRP pipe. The mandrel is fixed on the filament winding machine, through roving and resin filament winding process, the FRP pipe is shaped on the mandrel. Then, after the pipe is cured, the pipe will be removed off the mandrel.

II: Type: According to the materials, there are 2 main type mandrel,

1)      STEEL MANDREL: This mandrel is made by full steel,the cost is a bit high. The diameter ranges from DN50~DN4000MM,length up to 12meter.

2)      STEEL/FRP mandrel: This type mandrel is made from covering steel core with FRP lining by filament winding process. The mandrel diameter varies from DN250mm to DN4000mm. and length up to 12 meters.
