INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR LOW VOLTAGE FIXTURES
FOR USE ONLY WITH LOW VOLTAGE LANDSCAPE POWER UNITS
FIXTURES ARE NOT TO BE INSTALLED WITHIN 10FT.OF A POOL OR SPA
Installation recommended to be done by a professional electricain and must be in accordance with local codes of the National Electrical (NEC)
TOOLS REQUIRED FOR INSTALLATION:
Wire Strippers,Flathead Screwdriver,Philips Screwdriver
1.To prevent electrical shock,disconnect transformer before installation or service.
2.Run wire from fixture through the mounting hole at top of ground spike (if appliance)
3.Thread fixture to ground spike
4.Place spike in desired position and insert into ground until flange of spike is fiush to the ground ,approximately linch above ground.
5.Strip the two (2) leads from the fixture wire. Using a silicone filled connector or outdoor rated wire nuts(not supplied)connect the leads from the fixture to the main supply cable leads.
NOTE:Wire shall not be buried more than 6 inches below surface.secure connection to the main supply cable.Always coil extra wire not used below fixture to disired angle.
6.Adjust fixture to desired angle.
NOTE:When no escape outlet is provided avoid aiming fixture directly upward.When possible ,set at angle to prevent rain or irrigation water from setting on lens.This is not applicable in the Well Light Series.
7.Reconnect power after servicing.
WARNING :TO REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE . OR INJURY TO PERSONS:
1.To prevent electrical shock,disconnect power supply before servicing.
2.Do not touch lens,guard or enclosures.Allow fixture to cool down before servicing.
3.Do not operate fixture with missing or damaged parts.
LAMP INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT:
CAUTION:DO NOT EXCEED MAXIMUM WATTAGE MARKED ON THE FIXTURE LABEL.
1.To prevent electrical shock,disconnect power supply before replacing lamp.
2.Remove shroud to expose lamp.
3.Replace lamp with correct wattage and type of lamp market on the fixturelabel.
NOTE:Do not touch Halogen Lamp With bare hands.Always use the Plastic bag (if available) or soft cloth when handing the lamp.
4.Re-install shroud.
5.Reconnet power.
