FFV09 is a multi-purpose tracked forest special fire-fighting vehicle which is developed by Lannmarker and his partner, according to terrain and physiognomy, forest fire situation and fire-extinguishing concept as well as on the basis of making full investigation and study to existing forest fire-fighting equipment, and the vehicle features military tracked armored vehicle technology and its mature & reliable parts or components. The vehicle is provided with:
- all-road passability and water floating function- rapid mobility- larger carrying capability- capability of opening up the way- better rescuing and towing capability
It has various kinds of forest fire-extinguishing devices and functions. The vehicle is basically configured in water fire-fighting equipment version. In addition, according to requirements of fire extinction operation, the vehicle can also be temporarily equipped with bulldozer blade, cultivating plough, fire extinction cannon (ammunition) and wind power fire extinguisher etc.
