Pitch-blade types have slope angle and can produce axial flow. It has good circulation power but the shearing force is lower than straight-blade type. Curved blade types have back angle and have large output flow rate and low power consumption. It is used specially in processes of mixing, dispersing, and heat transfer, emulsification.
