The installation location::
1, for carburetor cars, it is usually installed in vacuum tube between the carburetor and the the connected pad of cylinder, it is also available at the vacuum tube between the engine brake vacuum booster and engine, or installed on PCV valve. (Have been equipped with special pads, fuel saver can be installed to it.)
2, For EFI Model cars, it is usually installed at the vacuum tube between the engine brake vacuum booster and engine, It is also installed at the vacuum tube near to intake manifold, but should be installed on the position where the computer can not detect air flow.
Notice that when installed between the vacuum brake booster and the engine, it should near to the engine, but never allowed to exceed non-return valve of the brake vacuum pump suction pipe, Otherwise it will lead to brake failure.
Debug method:
1, For carburetor car series:
(1) Remove the Heat sealing mat between carburetor and combustion chamber, and put on special pads of the fuel saver, fasten and sealed
(2) Connect the vacuum tubes of the hose and rubber matting of the fuel saver.
(3) Adjust the fuel saver.
(4) Fuel saver is fixed on vehicles iron or on the pipe fittings that does not produce high temperature.
(5) if without special cushions, installed on the vacuum tube between automobile Vacuum brake booster and engine, or on the PCV valve.
2, for EFI car series:
(1) Find the intake manifold vacuum closest to the chamber, and unplug it.
(2) Connect the intake manifold vacuum with the fuel saver.
(3) Then adjusting is completed, pinch the special filter to the adjusting nut.
(4) Fuel saver is fixed on vehicles iron or on the pipe fittings that does not produce high temperature.
Debug method:
(A) Carburetor Series:
1, To start the motor
2, Adjust the inner screw of the fuel saver, to make idling speed to increase or decrease.
3, After installation, if the idling speed is slow, need to increase the idling speed of the carburetor, and then adjust the inside screw of the fuel saver, the idling speed will increase.
4, Observe speed meter, adjust the inside screw of the fuel saver to increase 200-400 rotates.
5, Fix the nut outside of the regulating screw, pinch special filters to adjusting nut.
6, Adjust the idling speed to the normal status.
7, The idling speed of few cars idling changes little, reasonably adjust the inner screw of the fuel saver, hear there is uniform intake sound, then it can achieve fuel efficiency.
(B) EFI Series:
1, To start the motor
2, Adjust the inner screw of the fuel saver, to make idling speed to increase or decrease.
3, Observe speed meter, adjust the inside screw of the saver to make idling speed to the highest or the lowest.
4, Because EFI car has automatic repair function, it is normal when idling speed increase and then drop immediately.
5, Turn the motor off, put the key to the original place, then disconnect the negative battery in 30 seconds, the computer automatically restore memory, idling speed restore to normal status.
6, If idling speed can not be restored to normal status, use computer unscrambler to adjust to normal status.
Post-installation testing methods and precautions:
1, Installed well in order to avoid to leakage, or cause shaking and unstable idling speed.
2, Fuel saver is installed on intake between the brake vacuum booster and the engine, if brake is not well, put the fuel saver on the negative pressure intake between the PCV valve and the engine. (The negative pressure before the engine) .
3, CH adjust screw main role is to adjust the exhaust indicators.
Maintenance time and method:
1, According to local dust in the air, regular maintenance of the filter on the fuel saver, generally cleaned once at 10,000 kilometers or replaced.
2, Remove the filter, use gasoline or cleaning agent to clean or replace it.
3, When completed, according to debug method, adjust plusminus screw of the fuel saver to the optimum position.
