Raisins are reasonably well-matured fresh grapes that have been dried, stemmed, capstemmed, and cleaned. No additional sulphur SO2 is added. They shall be free from foreign materials, serious defects and damage, rancidity, mould, infestation and contamination, and will be free of any evidence of insect damage, rodent activity and decay.  No chemical or any kind of additive is permitted without authority.
