About Old-ship Furniture:
The Material: made from reclaimed timbers of old ships. Timber name: shorea (common name Balau), a very dense, durable and hard solid wood, very similar in characteristics to teak wood, mainly distributes in Sourtheast Asia countries, like Indonesia, Malaysia;
The Ships: usually commercial ships or fishing boats of 1950s-60s
The Style: we aim to bring art and nature to your living or working place. It can be RUSTIC style when it comes to the natural grain of the wood; It can also be ANTIQUE style when it comes to the long history of the wood. (P.S.: the holes are formed naturally when the iron nails were pulled out)
The Technique: using both modern & traditional techniques, most our furniture is with morticed & tennonned construction
The Collection: we carry stylish old-ship bar furniture, old-ship decoration accessories and old-ship furniture for living room, bedroom and dining room
