JC-2011 Electrophoretic lacquerelectrodeposition coating
JC-2011 Cathodic Electrophoretic lacquer
JC-2011 Cathodic Electrophoretic lacquer is widely used as a high gloss decorative clear coating in the metal finishing market such as gold, silver, nickel plating as well as copper and brass polishing.
1. Characteristics
1.1 Excellent stability and simple maintenance of solution;
1.2 Obtains a layer with high gloss and hardness with excellent abrasion resistance.
1.3 Excellent leveling property and throwing power delivers uniform coating on complex parts with highly decorative performance.
1.4 Outstanding solvent and chemical resistance, as well as very good bonding force with spray paints.

4. Initial Make Up of Solution:
4.1 Initial make up of transparent lacquer
Ratio:
Original electrophoretic lacquer: deionized water=1:5
Method:
Due to the high viscosity of JC-2011, please stir when adding original lacquer to avoid precipitation.
4.2 Initial make up of color lacquer
Ratio:
Original electrophoretic lacquer: deionized water=1:5
If the color paste is water-soluble, just add the color paste in the ready made lacquer solution and electrophoresis after fully circulation.
If the color paste is oil-soluble, firstly please add the color paste into the original lacquer, mechanical stir till uniform but make sure to keep the lacquer cool, and then fill in water, stir uniform to get the solution.
Note: Suitable stir-to-cured time of solution is important, otherwise, pitting and holes on the coating film may occur due to the effect of low boiling point solvents; while it can’t be too long, or the lack of solvent will lead to bad leveling and replenishment of solvent is required.

8. Maintenance
Similar maintenance as regular electrophoretic lacquers, control the temperature of tank solution and regular ultrafiltration is required to remove impure ions.
When comes to the regular problems such as pitting, non uniform leveling on coating film, adjusting by adding solvent is suggested, small volume in a single time but frequently.
9. Storage and Packing
Stored in cool and dry place, estimated shelf life is 12 months.
Packed in plastic drum, 25kg/drum.
