GYTS steel armored underground optical fiber cable
Snapepool outdoor optical cable is manufactured with the construction of stranded loose tube and central tube
Description
The fibers, 250um, are positioned in a loose tube made of a high modulus plastic. The tubes are filled with a water-resistant filling compound. A steel wire, sometimes sheathed with polyethylene (PE) for cable with high fiber count, locates in the center of core as a metallic strength member. Tubes (and fillers) are stranded around the strength member into a compact and circular cable core. The PSP is longitudinally applied over the cable core, witch is filled with the filling compound to protect it from water ingress. Then, the cable is completed with a PE sheath.
Features1 Good mechanical and temperature performance2 High strength loose tube that is hydrolysis resistant3 Special tube filling compound ensure a critical protection of fiber4 Special designed compact structure is good at preventing loose tubes from shrinking5 PE sheath protects cable from ultraviolet radiation6 Crush resistance and fiexibility7 The following measures are taken to ensure the cable watertight:Steel wire used as the central strength memberLoose tube filling compound100% cable core fillingPSP enhancing moisture-proof8 Storage / Operating Temperature: -40°C~+70°C.
Application1 Usable in Duct or Aerial2 Long-haul communication system3 Junction communication system4 Subscriber networks system5 Local area networks system
