It can be used as plasticizer for thermosetting plastic and resins, like styrene (PVC, ABS and AS resin), phenolic resin and amino resin. In rubber industry, it can be used as rubber lubricant and surface lubricant and activating agent of sulfur catalyst. It also can be taken as polishing agent for textiles, smoothing agent for paint and porcelain enamel and raw material for cosmetics. For powder cosmetic, it can increase adhesiveness and lubricant.
